Located in Ottawa, Ontario, on unceded Algonquin territory,
we are the local chapter of Extinction Rebellion.

Extinction Rebellion, known as XR, began in the U.K. in fall 2018 as a socio-political movement using non-violent direct action and civil disobedience to protest government inaction against climate breakdown and unprecedented loss of biodiversity leading to the possible human extinction.

The science is clear: We are facing an unprecedented global emergency. We are in a life-or-death situation of our own making. We must act now.
